[ music ] Shake It // Metro Station Seems like I’m having more responsibilities as a teacher assistant now. Not that I mind. It was, after all, my goal to become indispensable. And I actually got the kids to pay attention and follow instructions…to some degree. Until their minds wandered off again. Today Kelly, a student in our class, made Kevin cry. I wanted to cry with him; it was so sad. After work I went to yum cha with mom and 二舅父. 二舅父’s friend was there with her daughter, Lucy, and her husband. Lucy’s so cute even though she’s already 11. :p Very smart girl and she knows a lot more Chinese than I do. lol She gave me those yarn thingies (except now in straw form) to make the stitchy boxes that were all the rave back when I was in elementary school. Good times. 39! Then we went to Manhattan. Mom said her friend suggested her to go to a really cheap place to buy clothes. It was so weird. They were selling samples in the fashion district building. It was unlike anything I’ve witnessed before. The place smelled like Guangzhou and women were trying on sweater samples from racks inside an office room. Kevin’s the most adorable kid ever with the cutest smile!~ So I just hugged him and talked to him and now he’s better, I hope. I like hugging kids. 
Today we went to the library. I didn’t realize how loud they were until we left and it got really quiet. lol| Yay! Updates at Last! |
