First off, updates! Yay~

• Animated GIFs – added 1 of SoEul and 6 of Boys Before Flowers. I am suffering from BBF withdrawal.
• Resources – added 2 icon texture sets: I Fall to Pieces and Overfire.

Nearing the end of spring break, I am suddenly confronted by a mountain of IDC homework and projects. And now I shall complain about this class for the millionth time: why must we take it? They like punishing honors kids. First by making us go to boring common events with not enough water and expired food. Then by making the volunteer process a living hell. Really, I don’t mind helping out the community and actually quite enjoy it, but when you have someone super anal about each of the service hour forms, it kind of takes the joy out of doing something for the public good. Well, I mean, I guess *that person* did not really give me an attitude, but I’m guessing it’s because she could see the fear in my eyes. Yeah. So I have seven more pages to write by tomorrow. *sigh* I’m going to have to lock myself up in a room and disconnect the Internet.

[ music ] Time is Running Out // Muse

Oh how true it is. Had a mildly terrible day at school. My IDC group is falling apart and we are completely clueless about what to do for our presentation on Wednesday. And to top it all off, we got an unfair, crappy grade for our poster. I see lots of complaining in the near future. You know, I really hate how our GPAs are being lowered by a mandatory, unorganized class the Honors college decided would be fun to impose on us. Speaking of, they’re making me do 28 hours of community service this year because I didn’t hand in my paperwork on time. And they gave me 5 additional hours as a “penalty” because, you know, that’s the whole point of volunteering.

I have a bunch of other complaints about the system, but let’s save that for another day. On the plus side, I finished a fraternity party flier yesterday and will be getting $40 in compensation for my two hours’ work. Quite awesome. Considering the guys I had previously worked for never even paid me for $8 an hour. From now on, I expect at least $15 an hour. Grr. I’ll post up the flier once the final edits are made.

Uh…what else to be optimistic about? Nothing much. Time to slave over homework again. One more week until winter break! Ganbatte!!!
