Study breaks

Hey, everyone. As you can see, I decided to switch up the sandals banner to one featuring Jay. Yay! I’ve been meaning to make a layout with this picture for a while since it’s so fierce. Man, those Wild Bunny photo shoots were awesome. Most of the scans circulating around of 2PM’s Elle Girl spread are kind of small and have watermarks on them. So here are some bigger scans without the watermark that I found on Daum. A little overdue, but enjoy!

  • HQ Gallery – added some images of 2PM, Hyolee, and B2ST (just one of Dongwoon – why do the magnaes always look so mature?).

By the way, I do believe that Jay is going to return for 2PM’s next album/single/mini-album. Before he left Korea, he said he was going back to Seattle to “study music.” But from reports I’ve read about his current activities, he’s doing  a lot of b-boying and working in a friend’s garage. That doesn’t constitute as studying, does it? Which reminds me – I should go back to studying for finals.

New theme…finally

After many, many hours of tweaking with CSS, positioning everything, installing scripts and plugins, and figuring out which part of the code is messing up the layout, I am finally close to finishing the new theme. In other words, please ignore the very plain banner for now.

It’s been months since I’ve updated the layout, mostly due to laziness. Now is actually the wrong time to work on this since I still have finals to study for. But unfinished business really peeves me like no other.

This winter I want to revive my site by posting more updates or at least some interesting blog entries. So stay tuned and hope that I don’t slack off again!

It’s really late now. In fact, it’s pratically morning. Time for this nocturnal designer to go to sleep.

Things turn for the better

I received an email that I was not expecting and my bad mood from the past few days is suddenly gone. It feels like I have regained the strength to go on with life. Today I came across a very interesting quote, “Life is like riding a bicycle. In order to keep your balance, you must keep moving.” So true, so true. I really need to remind myself to remain optimistic.

To celebrate, update!

  • LJ Icons – Okay, it’s only three icons of BoA, Jo-Kwon, and G-Dragon, but…it’s something?
  • Wallpapers – added 1 Han Ji Hye (image from previous layout), 1 abstract (needed to make it for something else, actually), and 1 G-Dragon (love his new “Heartbreaker” concept photos).

Days go by

[ music ] Wild Horses // The Sundays

The hours are going by so quickly and so slowly. Another day of class, another day of work. At least I’m not slacking off like my brother, who won’t even be volunteering anymore due to the H1N1 fears. Go study for your SATs, fool!

Anyway, I am 80% finished with my portfolio for Internet Design class. I forgot how tedious and annoying creating pure HTML pages can be. Also, the new Wordpress theme is up. I’m going for the clean, semi-professional look these days. Figured I’d probably be designing these type of layouts in the future if anything. The gray and orange strike back!

If you have any ideas for updates, please enlighten me. And if you have any requests for graphics of certain people or things, drop a line, too. I’m feeling rather guilty for the lack of updates…

Dozing off ~

Before I proceed, I will start with the updates as usual:

Also, as you can see, I’ve put up a new layout (there are still some glitches) featuring Han Ji Hye. Her photoshoot for Numero magazine was just stunning and I don’t even know this actress. Anyway, I’m going to have to do something about the empty space between the site title and the blog entries. Blergh. It’s been a while since I actually created a graphic for the layout (without simply blending in an image out of laziness). It still looks kind of simple, though. Hm. Designer’s block.
