Did anyone else watch the Grammy’s last night? I must say it’s one of the better ones in recent years. Pink’s performance of “Glitter in the Air” was just breathtakingly beautiful. Like Diablo Cody said, no one has an excuse to lipsync anymore. haha You can view the video of the performance at the bottom of this entry. And can somebody tell me how Taylor Swift won album of the year? I mean, I can see how her music would be appealing to tweens, but…Grammy material? I think not.

• Scans – added some scans of Lady Gaga’s The Fame Monster CD booklet. Didn’t like her makeup at the Grammy’s, but her duet with Elton John was pretty nice.

School started recently and already I am exhausted, but I blame myself for sleeping so late. The first day was nice, all bustling with people. But it quickly got annoying after the second day. On the contrary, my finance class is so awkwardly silent. Urgh. Not digging these intro classes. It was nice seeing old friends again, though. Other than that, the work load so far is no different from what I did over winter break. Good preparation?

So I decided to compile monthly playlists since I am a music lover and the company I work for receives new music from the record labels on a weekly basis. But since it’s the end of the year, I might as develop a year-end playlist this time. These are just some recommendations with a few comments. Not all of the songs below are new; they’re just whatever I played a lot of this month. I’ve uploaded most of the songs, though they’re not supposed to be downloadble. If you like the song, buy it from iTunes (or another music service)! I’m not done uploading them yet and may add more comments to the list.

I love this girl’s voice and her music. Give her a listen and check out her self-titled album. Recommended tracks: Boom, Rain, Crazy That Way, Some Dumb Girl. Her music video for this song is pretty trippy, too.
