Episode 1: The vengeful demon who threw away love – the grieving devil

A girl is telling some kids the story of how Lucifer became Satan, aka Maou (“demon king”). We see flashbacks of a young boy dying and Naruse Ryo (played by Satoshi Ohno) putting flowers down where the boy had died. Ryo is a famous, successful lawyer. Then we see Serizawa Naoto (played by Ikuta Toma) chasing after a guy and getting him to confess to a crime. From a distance, someone is taking pictures of Naoto. Back at Ryo’s house, we find out that he had been taking pictures of Naoto for many years already. He stabs a knife through one of the photos.
