The media is bombarding Onoue and Club Sawa. No one’s happy about this and now Ayaka’s club can’t open on time because the workers refuse to work for a place that is accepting illegal loans. Rina laughs very fakely at Ayaka’s defeat. When Sugino confronts her, she has that annoying fake laugh again.

Naoto is, predictably, okay. The doctor tells Sawa Mama, who he seems to have connections with, that Naoto’s internal organs are fine, but… (doesn’t say). Eri tells Ayaka she should be apologizing to Naoto, not her, and pushes her out of the room. Ayaka thinks this is all her fault because of her dreams to become a jotei (isn’t she just so full of herself? :p).

Rina kneels down and begs Sugino not to dump her (so she can beat Ayaka).

At the hospital, Eri tries to feed Naoto some pears (?), but he refuses to open his mouth (cute scene ). Sawa Mama comes in and sends Eri away with her flowers. She asks Naoto is he really all right? Maybe he should take more time off. She says she knows he wants Ayaka to become an independent jotei, but it’s time he starts living for himself. He says this is his way of life and Eri overhears everything (again).

Ayaka calls Hojo while he’s in his office with Sugino and tells him if he doesn’t want the photos to leak out, he better resign from his position. He tells Sugino he was framed by Ayaka.

Sugino goes to Ayaka’s apartment gives her the photos of her and Onoue as well as the memory card. He says he will change and be a good politician like Onoue.

Ayaka enters Onoue’s hotel room as someone takes pictures of them from a distance (looks like his flash is on, don’t know how they did not notice it). Inside, she tries to seduce Onoue but he doesn’t respond. Instead, he tells her that he will never sleep with anyone other than his wife. Ayaka asks him if this was true. And then he tells her about his past: how he fell in love with a hostess from Ginza (Ayaka’s mom) but he was arranged to be married with a politician’s daughter (his current wife) who will pave the way for his own success as a politician (sound like Sugino’s story?). Ayaka’s mom disappeared for half a year and when Onoue finally found her again, she was already 7-months pregnant. She tells him not to see her again, understanding that marrying the politician’s daughter would really help his career. So she gave up on him and from then on, Onoue promised himself not to sleep with anyone other than his wife.

Ayaka goes to visit Onoue and treat him to bento. She tries to come on to him, but he seems indifferent. Later, Naoto warns her about doing what she’s doing but she pretends not to know what he’s talking about and basically tells him to mind his own business as a kurofuku.

Eri tells Ayaka Miki seems to be in love and Ayaka is still sad about Naoto. Through the movie producer Osawa introduced her to before, she meets Daisho, a guy who has connections to the underground and says he’ll definitely come back to visit her.
