Final episode!

Jan Di leaves a homemade lunch box by Joon Pyo’s bedside while he sleeps and pretends to perform a spell on him so he’d remember her. When he wakes up, Yumi is there. After eating the food Jan Di has preparde for him, he suddenly remembers the taste and asks if she made it for him. She lies and says yes. He grabs her arm and tells her, “The thing I forgot…it must be you.”

Jan Di’s mother had already guessed that something happened. Her daughter informs her that it’s over between her and Joon Pyo and she starts weeping about there being no hope left for the family. Well, that’s rather pathetic and not much different from M. Kang selling her son off, if you think about it.

Joon Pyo tells Jan Di that he’s prepared to take whatever the Evil Witch throws at him this time; he’s not losing her again. But Jan Di prefers to be independent. Whatever happens to Joon Pyo should be for his own benefit, not hers. He remarks that she does not have a cute side at all.

Speaking of cute, it’s like Jan Di and Joon Pyo suddenly had a kid. The little boy gets hoisted up on Joon Pyo’s shoulder. hehe As they walk home, Joon Pyo gets a video message from Mr. Jung, who tells him M. Kang is looking for him. He leaves but not before turning to steal one last look at Jan Di for the night.

The wedding guests are getting fidgety. Is Joon Pyo really going to stand his bride-to-be up? Meanwhile, some of M. Kang’s men kidnap Jan Di [again] to get Joon Pyo to fulfill his “duty.” What choice does he have but continue with the shotgun wedding? But to his surprise, Jae Kyung objects to the marriage at the altar, saying she’s not ready for it yet. She asks her father to continue business with Shinhwa Corp. since this is all her fault. M. Kang cannot believe it.

Not only does Jae Kyung see Jan Di, but M. Kang comes into the room as well, obviously apalled and wondering, “What do I have to do to get rid of this girl?!” She wants to dismiss Jan Di ASAP, but Grandma appears and reminds her that under the late President’s authority, all the personnel in the household are her responsibility. Nothing you can do, M. Kang! Grandma later tells Jan Di she doesn’t want her gratitude. But she devoted her life to raising Joon Pyo and still could not change his violent temperament until Jan Di came along. (Er, actually he’s still quite immature and rash, just to a lesser degree)
