Hong Yi denies everything and leaves. But Ah Ho calls Sum Lui and tells her the truth. The two-timer tears up and says she’ll fly back to Hong Kong right away. When she asks Hong Yi, she says everyone was lying. If she had really pushed Mama down the stairs, she wouldn’t have requested to speak to Hong Yi before she died. She tells Sum Lui to lie to the police and tell them that she saw Mama roll down the stairs herself. Sum Lui cries and Hong Yi says all this is for Sum Lui. Sum Lui goes up to Ling’s place to keep the dog company. Sum Lui says she doesn’t know if she and Ah Ho will work out. Ling asks if it’s because he came back. She’s silent. Even Jo Bao’s old employees are sellouts now and give testimony against him. Sa Yi sees Ga Mei checking a space out and yells at her some more, saying that she may see Hong Yi as an idol, but Hong Yi is just using her. She tells her Ah Yuen is all depressed because of her. Hor Ma returns home to see everyone mourning. She tells them not to cry because Mama will always love the family. And they start whistling annoyingly again! Argh!!! >:( Ah Ho is still confused about what Mama must’ve told Hong Yi. Sum Lui tells Ah Ho she went to Ling’s the other day and found out about Wing Lum. Hong Yi introduces a new witness to the lawyer - Yun Chi. The tabloids are bothering the family again. Sa Yi feels awful that her husband is so greedy. She’s very sorry for having her daughter and Yun Chi cause so much trouble for them. Hong Yi hold a press conference to explain why she only wound up giving Jo Bao 10%. Sa Yi shows up to insult Hong Yi for bribing everyone. She also yells at Ga Mei, saying that she’ll never think of her as a daughter again. Ah Ka announces that he’ll be leaving the PR company because he has to run his father’s business. That night, Ah Yuet closes the light and tells him he passed his curfew. But he opens it back and says he doesn’t want it to be pitch black like it was when he suddenly fainted. The doctor said there’s a chance he might die at 35 and Ah Yuet hugs him and cries.
